Right? Riiight.....
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
If a manual Miata had this tune it would do 0 to 60 in about 4.4 seconds according to this handy 0 to 60 calculator!

Miata ain’t FWD.
But that calculator is shockingly accurate.

Actually it’s 4.489 seconds with it set to RWD

Gearing matters.

I love me some turbo Miata action. Kinda surprised Flyin’ Miata is distributing someone else’s kit rather than develop their own. But hey, good either way.

Huh, this thing is incredibly accurate. By my own testing, the new smart does 0-60 in 8.5s
And if you time a 451 smart, but subtract each gear shift (since they take a second, each), you also get 9-10 seconds.

Really? It is actually fairly inaccurate.
Without torque being a value, it’s not a very good calculator.

It was very close for me. And for being as general as it is, I call that a victory.
Torque has a rigid relationship with HP, unless your engine is a diesel or a high-revving gasser it should be close.
I’m guessing your estimate was too slow?

Azsuming what gear ratio exactly? How are they estimating 0-60 without that?

Not exactly accurate considering the Rover can’t make it to 60

I did the S2000, estimate was too fast, the Aventador, estimate was slow, and C6 ZR1, and the estimate was too fast.

I know as soon as I post this, it’s Tales from the Blackbird time and someone will swoop in on top of me :) This is car + driver weight

What sort of margin are we talking here? And did you account for the weight of the driver?

If I was the driver, I’d be 120 pounds. And if I bump the weight up +200, the estimates are just a bit off...tolerance of .1, .15.

To get within half a second with such vague information... I call that good. Especially since the DRIVER can make or break it by that much, easily.
